I’ve always wanted to explore abstract art but my perfectionism and expectation never allowed me to. I didn’t ever try to explore calligraphy because I’m left handed and they say you can’t really do it with your left hand due to the wrong angles you’ll get when holding the brush with your left hand.
I always wanted to explore this Japanese childhood my heart always desired but never got. There’s still a little Daiga inside me… So then why not just use my untrained right hand? My right hand is in a way still a child, untrained with no rules and guidelines that was forced on it yet. I have no expectations for my right hand. I can quote on quote properly do/learn calligraphy with my right hand. I could take classes too if I want to. If not, just explore it myself. I could do an experiment on training my right hand in calligraphy and arts. My adult left handed self taught little Daiga right hand. I liked that idea I had.
I wonder what I can come up with? The lack of expectation excites me.
